The Heavy Duty Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 Tow Bar

If you are the type of RVer that likes to explore the surroundings outside of the campgrounds, then you are going to need an easy way to take your personal vehicle with you on all your adventures. Not everyone wants to stay on site the entire time they are camping. So instead of having to site see and visit other places in your motor home, check out our many tow bars including the heavy duty Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 and other dinghy towing products you may need.
Tow bars, while in use, get a lot of wear and tear, from bumpy roads to every stop or turn you make, putting all the weight and force on the tow bar. This is why it is important to choose the proper one for the weight of your vehicle being towed. Before you do that though, there is one more important thing to find out, if you choose to go the dinghy towing route. That is can your vehicle be towed with 4 wheels down? If you do not know it is best to call the manufacturer of the vehicle.
One of our most heavy duty tow bars is the Roadmaster BlackHawk 2 All Terrain Tow Bar which is great for towing most vehicles, especially heavier/larger vehicles like suburbans, hummers and full size pick-ups. It has a large hook up radius allowing you to not be perfectly lined up and still easily connect. Just the same with disconnecting, the Freedom Latch makes it so you can release the tow bar at any angle. You will never have to worry about the lock binding or you skinning your knuckles ever again. With this simple way of connecting and disconnecting it is possible for one person to hook up or unlatch this tow bar. It has built in channel guides, so you will never have to wrap up hanging safety cables and power cords again. This design was built to last with self lubricating nylon bushings to reduce friction, solid stainless steel inner arms and a powder coat finish for maximum durability and to keep it from rusting. This can be motorhome-mounted, conveniently storing it on the back. By using the storage latch you can fold it up and lock it into place, when ready to use again, lift the tow bar up and press the latch to release the lock.
Towing a vehicle behind your motor home is a nice added feature, but always keep in mind safety. If you want the products that will make you feel safe when hooking up, check out dinghy towing products on our site at RVupgrades.com. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us.

Why Choose the Waste Master RV Sewer Management System

Have you ever thought to yourself, there must be an easier/cleaner way to empty your RV holding tank. Well we all know that this is a necessary job that must be done, but it doesn't have to be messy and disgusting while doing it. Check out the Waste Master RV Sewer Management System that will make this a much simpler process that you won't dread doing during your camping trip.
What makes this sewer hose so special? Well have you ever had a hose that has sprung a leak or a fitting that became loose, then you really had a messy situation on your hands. This sewer hose is as some call it "bulletproof", it resists abrasions or punctures and has bonded cuffs to form a lock tight seal, so there is no chance that waste will drip out. The helical coils are perfectly designed on the outside, leaving the inside smooth, so you won't have to worry about the hose getting clogged and there is still plenty of room for expansion. It also comes with an industrial grade cam lock connector that will give you a leak resistant connection to your sewer outlet. This same design of fitting has been used for a long time in the liquid transportation industry including with fire hose fittings, proving these will have a strong and reliable seal. Last it also has a 90 degree nozzle that makes it easy to hook up and also with the shut off valve makes it so it won't empty until you are ready. Also if you are emptying and the ground sewer backs up you can quickly shut it off. The nozzle also has a clear port for viewing, this way you know exactly when you have fully emptied your holding tank.
If you are tired of having to buy new sewer hoses all the time, shop RVupgrades.com for a Waste Master RV Sewer Management System today and you will never have to buy another hose again. Make this the last hose you ever purchase.

Geocel Expanding Foam Sealant

Having an RV, camper or trailer can be a big expense, but fixing issues shouldn't always have to cost you an arm and a leg. If you have a leak in the roof or have a draft coming from the windows and doors, check out the Geocel Expanding Foam Sealant, which is designed specifically for fixing leaks, gaps, cracks and stops air infiltration around your RV.
This sealant is made of a durable polyurethane foam and when sprayed into an area it will expand from 2 1/2 to 3 times to fill the gap. Using this product makes it easy to conserve energy, especially when used to seal and insulate windows and doors. You won't have to worry about the cold getting in or the heat escaping anymore. For those other leaks including the roof, it will seal the hole keeping water, bugs and anything else from getting inside and possibly creating damage. It is simple to use, for the best results store and use at room temperature. Fill the lower part of the gap first, you will only need to fill about 40 percent as the foam will expand filling the rest. Once filled do not touch as it can collapse, but it will be tack free/no longer sticky in 5 minutes and cures or sets firmly in approximately 24 hours. If foam is used on the exterior surface of your RV, you may want to paint it when it dries, for protection as it is not UV resistant. There is no maintenance required, if the seal gets damaged, just scrape it off and reseal.
The Geocel Expanding Foam Sealant is one of the many great RV accessories that are perfect for fixing certain issues around your RV. To find out about more visit our site at RVupgrades.com and discover many different ways to take care of your home on wheels.

Keep your RV Protected this Winter with a Durable Cover

Winter is right around the corner and for everyone that lives in a colder climate area, they know how important it is to properly store your vehicle through these bad weather months. In a previous article we discussed about what you needed to winterize your RV water system, that is very important too but after you do that and lock up the RV tight the next step would be to cover it up tightly to keep the weather from damaging your vehicle. That is why we have a protective cover to fit just about any type of RV or trailer you could possibly have.
What can a cover do for your RV, trailer or camper? A cover does not have to be just for use in the winter time. It is also important to use anytime you will not be using your home away from home for a long period of time. Not everyone goes camping or travels every single weekend, some people only go a few times out of the year. For all the time it is not in use a cover will protect it from pine needles, leaves, dust, dirt and much more debris, keeping it clean for the next time you travel. For winter time it will keep the snow from building up on the top and adding extra weight possibly damaging the roof. By keeping the snow off it will also prevent damage to the seams when the snow melts and possibly refreezes. Don't let damages to your RV from the environment and weather, cost you a fortune in repairs.
There are a couple brands and many different kinds of models that we carry in our wide selection. The two popular brands are Adco and Classic Accessories. Within these brands are many different kinds of model fitments including Class A, Class B, Class C, 5th Wheels, Hi-Lo Trailer, Pop-up Trailer, Travel Trailer and Slide-In Camper. Then we have other covers for accessories including Propane Tanks, Windshields, Air Conditioners and Tires.
To choose the perfect cover for your home away from home, you have to first look up the model you have. For instance if you have a Class A RV you want to look in that category and choose the one that will fit the length size of your vehicle. Then you need to decide what type of material you want it to be made out of. If you need one that is great for all seasons, check out the Adco Tyvek cover or for one that is for moderate weather conditions go with one of the single layer Adco brands or PermaPro.
A RV cover is one of the many accessories you may need when winterizing or just protecting the exterior of your home on wheels, visit our site at RVupgrades.com to see all the accessories we have to offer.

RV Accessories Like TV Antennas Make your RV Feel Like Home

During football season, you might be inclined to stay closer to home so you never miss any of your favorite football games on TV. However, why should a few hours of TV keep you from exploring our great country? It doesn't have to when you install one of our many RV TV Antennas.
Since television signals went digital, it means that when an antenna picks up a channel it comes in crystal clear. The fuzzy picture you remember from antennas in the past doesn't exist anymore. You either get the channel or you don't, and when you get it the picture is just as perfect from an antenna as it is from cable or satellite dish. Plus, in your RV you have the advantage of being able to move to a new location to pick up the channels you want, and since football games are broadcast on the local channels they are really easy to pick up.
The Winegard RV- RZ50 antenna has excellent reviews from happy customers and gets great signal on local channels, or try the amplified antenna if you want to be sure you can pull in the channels you want even in more remote locations. These two are indoor only installations and only receive the local broadcast channels but Winegard also makes antennas that can be used outside and work off the satellites to bring you many more channels. The satellite ones include the Carryout Anser and Pathway X2 which are both portable and have to be used stationary. Trav'ler is one that is mounted to the roof of the RV and is used stationary. Then there is the Roadtrip Mission in Motion, which is great for the RVer that has a family and they are constantly on the road. It can get great signal whether you are driving or parked and will keep the kids busy during the long drive to your destination. If you decide upon a satellite antenna you will have to make sure you get a receiver and depending on the satellite you choose, it will tell you the type of receiver it is compatible with.
Another great brand for RV antennas is King Controls. If you are only looking to get locally broadcast stations then the Jack Over The Air would be perfect for you. The King has two satellite antennas the Tailgater which is for anyone that is wanting to use a DISH receiver and the Quest for someone that wants to have DIRECTV.
There are many RV Accessories to make your RV feel like home, TV Antennas are just one of them, Check out our many other products at RVupgrades.com.

Upgrading your RV Interior Lights

When remodeling your RV one of the first things you may consider in the process is upgrading your interior lights. If you are still running on the old standard bulb light fixture or the ones you have are just old and dull, then maybe its time for a change. Checkout our wide selection of different fixtures that are sure to match your decor and give you the light you need in any area of your RV.
There are many things to consider when upgrading the lighting in your RV. One thing is, what is the theme or decor style that you are trying to achieve with this upgrade. Lighter color themes, you may want to use brushed nickel finished fixtures, versus darker colors, you might want like a bronze finish on the lights. Second, where are they getting placed in the RV? If you need lights for the ceiling, most likely you are going to want a round flat light or an overhead light. The more decorative ones would be the reading, wall or even the dinette light. The reading and wall lights are perfect for the bedroom and or the living area in places where you need less light or directional light. Dinette lights are great for the kitchen, we also have vanity lights, best for brightening up the bathroom. Third is, what type of light bulb are you looking to use? Incandescent have softer light but are not energy efficient, fluorescent is brighter but is also not energy efficient, or LED which is bright, long lasting and saves energy. Some fixtures can only use certain types of bulbs, so be aware when choosing. Last would be your budget, making sure you choose great looking fixtures and a decent price.

Speaking of decently priced, check out the newly added ITC RV Light Fixtures. These designs are not only gorgeous but they are functional and low priced. They include everything from overhead, reading/directional, pin up, under-cabinet/dinette, vanity and many more other light fixtures to choose from. Still can't find what you want check out our other brands like Gustafson, Progressive Dynamics or Diamond Group to find what your RV needs.
If you have any questions or need help finding or choosing the best light fixtures for your RV interior remodel, please contact us and we would be glad to help you.

Keep your RV Carpet Protected from Muddy Campsites

It's that time of year again when many people put there RV in storage for the winter, but for those that go camping year round, rain or shine, how do you manage to keep your carpets clean. If you're the type that will follow peoples foot steps through the RV with a spot cleaner, then you ought to check out these unique accessories for your RV carpet protection.
Many people when entering an RV don't take their shoes off because most of the time it's just to run in and grab something. They end up getting mud or dirt tracked in and then you got to be the one that cleans it. Especially with kids around they love to get dirty and with this time of the year, the campsites are muddy from the rain. For these reasons, we have Surface Shields, choose from rolls of plastic that stick to the carpet to the popular step and peel mats, where anything on the bottom of your shoes will get stuck to the mat.
Next is Plasticover, which lets you cover your motor home's carpet with a plastic film that will protect it from spills, stains, mud and dirt. You will have so much more fun with your family or friends, if you're not constantly worried about someone wrecking the carpet. Plasticover is an adhesive plastic that comes in a 24" wide roll. The roll comes in 200 or 500 feet, so it will cover a really wide area a few times over. Once you have applied the Plasticover, it will last for 60 days. This is over twice as long as many competing products.
Plasticover and Surface Shield is easy to install and the fact that it does not create a slippery surface, makes it a safe addition to your motor home. For more information on all your motor home or RV accessories, please contact us

RV Accessories That Will Help You With Winterizing Your Vehicle

Depending on what climate you’re in, you may not be able to use your RV all season long. If you plan on putting your RV accessories on hold for the winter, here are a few RV accessories you should really use in order to make sure that your vehicle is properly winterized and doesn’t sustain any damage while you aren’t using it.

Blow Out Plug:
A blow out plug will allow you to connect your water lines and completely drain your RV of all water in preparation for winter. Using this device, you can connect an air pump and open all of your faucets and drains in order to get all of the water out if you decide to do this.
Pump Converter:
This gadget lets you hook up a bottle of anti-freeze and connect the water pump you already have in your RV in order to keep the vehicle good to go throughout the winter. It’s important to choose a pump that has a sturdy material for the valve, such as brass. Using a pump converter to put anti-freeze into your water system, will help make sure that the pipes in your RV don’t freeze and crack during really cold winter temperatures.
By-Pass Kit:
Stop wasting antifreeze while winterizing your RV's water system and get a water heater by-pass kit. This kit is made to by-pass the antifreeze, keeping it from going to the water heater. This will save you a lot of money by not having to use as much antifreeze. It gets installed for the winter and then when spring hits, remove it and reconnect the system.

Laundry Made Easy While on the Road in your RV

Wouldn't it be great if you could do your laundry in your home-away-from-home? Even if you're parked someplace with laundry facilities, it's more convenient to not have to carry baskets and supplies to a separate building, wait for machines to finish, and carry everything back to your RV before you can even start the task of putting away your clean laundry. How much easier and more pleasant is it to start a load and then relax with a magazine or a favorite TV show until it's time to put your nice clean clothes away mere steps from where you did them?
The Splendide XC Combo is a combination washer/dryer in a stylish platinum finish. It has many of the same features as standard laundry machines, is easy to operate, and even features LEDS to show you where the machine is in the washing or drying process. From your finest silk lingerie to soiled jeans, this unit can handle it all. If you forget an item, it even has a feature that allows you to add it part way through the cycle. The motor runs quietly enough that you can let it do your laundry while you're asleep; a process helped by the fact that it automatically dispenses laundry products.
If you need to do larger loads and have a bit more room, the Splendide Ariston Stackable RV Washer and the matching Splendide Ariston Vented Stackable Dryer may be just what you need. These full-featured machines are sturdily built for life on the road. Washer features include a delayed wash setting, electronic controls, extra rinse cycle, super quiet operation, and overflow protection. The dryer features an extra-wide door, easy-to-clean lint filter, several temperature options and timed drying cycles, an 'Auto' cycle that senses when the load is dry and stops automatically, and a generous 4 cubic foot capacity. The machines can either stack or sit side-by-side.
If you would enjoy the convenience of having your very own laundry facility inside your home on wheels, contact us. We not only have the quality machines you'll want but all of the parts you'll need to get them up and running in time for your next adventure on the road.

RV Accessories for Colder Weather Camping

If you are the type of RVer that goes camping all year round, then depending on the location, you know that this is the time of the year that the weather starts to turn cold. It may be warmer during the day but as soon as the sun goes down the night becomes frigid. Here are a few RV accessories that would be perfect for keeping you warm during the cold nights.
Warm Bedding
There's nothing better than crawling into a nice warm bed on a cold night. Curling up with a thick blanket makes it that much better. One that is perfect for the RV world would be the RV Superbag Sleep System. This blanket set gives your bed the look of traditional bedding, but has the convenience of a sleeping bag. It includes the sheet and 2 pillow cases and the whole system unzips so it can be washed when needed. This is not your typical comforter, with the sleeping bag feature you won't have to worry about the blankets falling off the bed and you will stay warm the entire night.
Heaters or Furnace
Make the inside area of your RV cozy with Mr. Heater Heaters, so if it's a chilly night and your not quite ready for bed, sit in the living area and relax while watching some TV or playing a game of cards. These heaters are powerful enough to heat the area of the RV that you need with its different settings. They are also safe with the automatic shut off option for if they get tipped over, there is a low oxygen level or the pilot light is extinguished. If you are fortunate to have a furnace in your RV and need a replacement or you are thinking about having one installed we have many furnaces that would be great. Have the entire inside heated, so you can be comfortable no matter what area of the RV you are in.

Generator
The last accessory that would be a great idea to have, would be a generator. As you may already know with the cold weather, comes storms, rain or snow. Having bad weather can give you trouble with power at a campground and without it, you will also not have any heat, so it is always a good idea to have a source of back up power. This will at least give you the ability to keep the important things running until the electricity is fixed.
For even more ways to make your next RV adventure more enjoyable during the colder monthes of the year, contact us. We're always glad to help and answer any questions you may have.

Camper Accessories for Tailgating Season

If you are preparing to take your RV to all of your tailgating events this year during football season, you need to ensure that you have the right camper accessories first. These are a few upgrades that you might want to make to your camper before you start tailgating this year.
Refrigerator
Coolers are great for keeping drinks cold, but for food safety and convenience, it's a good idea to have a nice, working refrigerator in your camper. Then, you can store hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, condiments and yes -- sodas and beers -- without worrying.
Awning
Even though the temperatures have cooled down, it still gets bright and sunny at most tailgating parties. Installing an awning is a great way to shield off the sun for your party, also keeping you comfortable while partying with friends and family.
Grill
Besides having a few beers and rooting for your favorite team, the best part of tailgating is grilling out. So, you will need the perfect grill to cook all the food for you and everyone else. We have everything from gas, electric to charcoal and these grills are made to be portable so you can take them wherever you go. Since you are tailgating in your RV or camper, one popular grill would be a mountable one. The Outdoors Unlimited Sidekick Grill gives you the option of mounting it to the side of your RV or using the bracket as a table top stand, you choose.

Tables and Chairs
When tailgating there is nowhere to sit or eat, well we have the perfect solution, foldable tables and chairs. A folding table is great, it gives you a place to set all the food after it is cooked and an area for people to eat. It can also fold down compactly so it won't take up much room in the camper or RV. Folding chairs are also nice to have, they are also compact and give you the option to sit back, relax and enjoy being in the outdoors. If you are looking to be unique we have the folding picnic table. Fold it out to seat up to 4 people and when you are done it folds up, small enough to carry or store away.
Outdoor Games
Outdoor games can make a tailgating party much more fun. Checkout the Fundex Bulls-eye Washer Game or the Picnic Time Football Bean Bag Throw, which are perfect for everyone. While watching or listening to the game, get a friendly competitive game of your own going.
As you can see, there's a chance that your camper needs a few accessories if you want to make the most out of the tailgating season. If you contact us, we can help you find all of the parts that you need to hook your RV up for this football season.

As you know RV kitchens normally don't have a lot of storage space to begin with, so where do you store all your extra utensils and other cooking supplies? After all, one of the benefits of having your home-away-from-home is having all the comforts you're used to including a clutter free kitchen. Adding a add-a-drawer table kit beneath the table will make it easy to set for meals. What better place to store silverware and napkins than right where they're needed? Each one is a generous 14 x 8 x 2". You might want to consider adding one to a side table in the living area, too. It will provide a perfect place to stash that remote and newspaper.
Kitchen Kaddy Racks
Kitchen Kaddies are perfect for storing all the little odds and ends that you don't have space for. They are made of vinyl coated wire so they don't rust and they are durable enough to hold whatever you need. There are many different purposes for these racks, including a place to put spices, saran wrap or aluminum foil, cleaners and much more. They are easy to install and can be mounted just about anywhere there's a flat surface, from walls to inside cabinets.
Space Saving Dispensers
Another great RV accessory for creating storage in your kitchen is the space saving dispensers. We have many including Pop-A-Plate, Pop-A-Bowl, Pop-A-Towel and many more. These can be mounted under the cabinets and will keep your counter tops clutter free. When you need a plate, bowl, napkin, coffee filter or towel, just pop one out of the dispenser.

5 RV Accessories for Upgrading your Bathroom Shower

Everyone who has ever been camping at a campground knows showering can be unpleasant. One reason is that you may have to walk to the outhouse and if your camp site is not close it can be quite a hike. Second you may get there and have to wait for a shower if there are others showering at the same time. Last is the cleanliness, yes the shower rooms may get cleaned often, but it's never as clean as your bathroom at home. For those of you that own a RV and are fortunate enough to have a bathroom shower, you know how lucky you are, but just like everything else in your RV, it is probably on the smaller side. Here are 5 RV bathroom accessories that will not only help with the functionality of the shower but also make it more comfortable.
1. Suction Mount Handle
Adding the Jobar RET4776 IdeaWorks Super Grip Suction Mount Handle offers a little extra stability when stepping in or out of the bath or shower. The suction mount allows it to attach to any non-porous surface; the release lever even allows it to be easily lowered to tub height for those lucky enough to have a bathtub in their RV. With a color change indicator there's no guesswork about whether it's securely mounted or not.
2. Extendable Shower Rod
If you'd like a little extra elbow room in your shower, how about adding the Stromberg Carlson  Extend-A-Shower Expanding Shower Rod?  With 30% more elbow room, this RV accessory will make showering much more comfortable. It can even be used to hang up your towel to dry and then it folds neatly out of the way until it's needed again. It's even big enough to allow you to hang a stylish shower curtain just like at your other home.
3. Shower Head
Now that you have a spacious new shower, add a luxurious new updated water saving shower head. The Oxygenics 26481 Brushed Nickel RV Shower Head with a Smart Pause feature will let you enjoy a longer shower without the worry about running out of hot water. When it incorporates a body massage feature, it's just that much more enjoyable.

4. Bath Tub

If you have the space, another great RV accessory, perfect for upgrading your bathroom shower is a bath tub. The Lyons DT0146L12 46" X 24" White Full Bath Tub is a good size, we do carry other sizes also, including one with a seat in the tub. If you have young children you may have difficulty with them in the shower, this tub will make the bathing process much simpler. It will also help by keeping the water off the floor when showering.

5. Splash Guard

If you have a tub or just installed one, then the Golden Ideas Tidee Tubb Splash Guard would be a great accessory to add. Kids are notorious for splashing and when floors get wet they can be dangerous. Slipping and falling can cause an injury but with this product it will keep the majority of the water in the tub preventing this and potential damage to the floors from sitting water.
Well, there you have it: a bathroom that's stylish, comfortable, and safe. You may not even miss the shower you left behind. If you have any questions about our products, contact us and we will be happy to answer them.

Wheel Chocks and Locks Help Keep your RV from Rolling Away

Whether you are parking your RV, camper or trailer at a campsite, at home or in storage for the winter, you always want to make sure there is no possible chance that the vehicle will roll away. Besides putting on the parking brake, there are many RV accessories out there that are made specifically to prevent this. So if you are tired of worrying about your tires shifting, check out our wide selection of wheel chocks and locks.

What is the difference between a standard wheel chock and a locking chock? The standard chock can be used with just about any vehicle, it is a ramp that is placed directly behind the wheel, preventing the tire from rolling. Depending on the material that the chock is made of will determine what type of vehicle you can use it on. If it is a plastic one you may only want to use it on a smaller trailer or camper, but if it is made of metal then it can be used on larger trailers, campers and RVs. The locking chocks are more for the trailers with the double wheels in the rear. Just place the chock in between the two tires tighten it down and then lock it into place. This will secure both of the tires at the same time, giving it added security. Another neat product for trailers to help prevent rolling is the dock. It is like a chock but is for the tongue wheel. It goes directly under the wheel, locking it in place and also prevents dents in the driveway or the tongue from getting stuck in the mud.

Buying a BedSaver Can Save you Time and Money

Whether you are a beginner when it comes to towing a fifth wheel trailer or you are a pro, one product that can be very important is a Blue Ox BedSaver. A BedSaver can reduce the amount of frustration you will have on your road trips by saving you money by preventing damages to your truck and time by you not having to spend your vacation at a repair shop.

How does a BedSaver work?
When hitching a fifth wheel to your truck there a many things that you want to double check to make sure that they were properly hooked up, but the most important is the dreaded king pin. You want to make sure that this is locked in, if not the king pin may become detached and SLAM, your fifth wheeler is now sitting in the bed of your truck. Not to mention the damages that it probably just caused to your truck-bed or the trailer. This is where a bed saver would have come in handy. Having a Blue Ox BedSaver installed, if this happens, the bed saver will catch the king pin in a uniquely designed channel and will keep the trailer from dropping onto your truck bed. Different Ways to Cook on an Open Fire

We all know that one of the best things about camping is being able to cook over an open flame. Many people opt to go the traditional hot dog and hamburger route. However, there are times when the ordinary camping fare just won’t do. On those occasions, you may want to reach for a Cast Iron Skillet. It’s a great camping accessory to have around for that very reason.
The Rome Campfire Skillet is crafted out of cast iron with a wooden handle, it is 39" long, so you don't have to get to close to the fire and has a 6" diameter surface for cooking. The great thing about it is that the cast iron head does not require seasoning. Nonetheless, you may want to brush the pan with oil before using. Doing so will help to keep eggs, pancakes and sandwiches from sticking to the cast iron plate. Just make sure that the oil you are using has a high smoke point. Otherwise, you may inadvertently end up infusing an unpalatable smoke flavor into your meal. Oils that tend to have smoke points above 350 degrees Fahrenheit are refined canola, safflower, soy and sunflower.
If you are in an area with limited access to water, you may want to brush a piece of aluminum foil with oil and wrap it around the food instead. Then place the foil wrap into the skillet or cook it on a campfire grill. That way, it will require very little cleaning, if any.
There are several camping accessories that would pair well with the Rome Skillet, they are the Picnic Time Asiago Folding Cutting Board and the Rome Round Camp Ring Grill. The folding cutting board comes outfitted with stainless steel tools, making it simple to prepare one’s sandwich toppings. The camp grill ring, on the other hand, can help to keep your skillet level during the cooking process or give you another option to cook your food.

Quick Tips for Camping with Four-Legged Pals

Aah the freedom of traveling the open road! It’s always been enticing to humans and animals alike. Hence it’s no wonder that many Americans choose to go camping with their dogs. Unfortunately, despite everyone’s best hopes, not every RV road trip with Fido turns out well. Most of the time, the reason behind the sour turn is a lack of planning. So here are a few quick tips for avoiding major pet camping mishaps:
Always start by doing a lot of pre-planning and packing. Just like other members of the family, dogs will need their own camping supplies. Thus, it’s best to invest in items like a spill proof water dish, sensor equipped food dishes, pet fresheners and portable food bowls for impromptu day hikes. There are many pet accessories that can make camping with your four-legged pal easier.
It is also a sound idea to review and copy your pet’s health records. Make sure that Fido has all of his shots and place a copy inside of your RV along with a doggy first aid kit. That way, you’ll be ready to present the records to the campground’s owners and anyone else that may need to verify that Fido’s vaccinations are up to date.
Speaking of campground owners, we’d recommend that you save yourself major aggravation and disappointment by contacting them well in advance of your trip. Ask what their facility’s pet regulations are and whether or not special permits are needed to visit popular, area attractions. After all, there are some camping destinations (i.e. beaches) that require pet owners to apply for special permits or outfit dogs with specific accessories (i.e. retractable leash).
We can help provide you with the pet accessories needed to make your next family camping trip great. If you have any question about our products, please contact us.
